Hey guys,
Thought I'd throw an update to keep you guys in the loop. We've been loving the idea of a 1v1 tournament at BurningLAN (Quake 4 was a fricking blast, both to watch and to play), so we've been trying to figure out something else to put into that category. We sat and thought through every FPS we knew, the RTS games seemed weak, and c'mon, another Quake 4 tournament would be stupid. We're bloodthirsty gamers, and what better way to celebrate that than to hold a Soul Calibur tournament on a big screen?
We're just itching for the giant-sword, man vs. man-beast bloodshed. Let us know what you think. We want to know what console we should hold it on (we're leaning towards Playstation 2).

Well, well...
We've done quite a bit of work for the August LAN already... including building a new rackmounted server (to be accompanied by another one in the future) and re doing the layout. Hit the link below to read more.

Hello everyone!
Despite a few small shortcomings I wanted to praise everyone who worked hard at the previous event. Congratulations to Vincent Vega for winning the Turantula Keyboard in the Quake 4 1v1 Tournament. Additionally, I'd like to congratulate Team CN for their victory in the Counter-Strike 1.6 3v3! I hope everyone is enjoying their blowup hammers and shirts from our amazing sponsors ;) I know I am!
Looking forward, I would like to announce that the next planned BurningLAN event will be... announced after the jump...

Hey guys,
Well, it wasn't the greatest of events, buy hey, we definitely learned a good bit. Like...
- a 10amp PA system should not go on a circuit with the rest of the computers. We knew that already, but we didn't realize where it was running from... damn.
- Game versions matter, especially when it's a custom game.
- Xbox players are very difficult to please.
- People don't buy food when there are stores very close by.
- Thermaltake is a VERY good company when it comes to sponsorship.
- Advertising is a very cold practice.
