BurningLAN is a moderately large (50-100 people+) LAN party based in York, Pennsylvania. It began in Winter of 2007 as a Graduation Exit Project for a senior student at Central York High School and has continued to grow throughout the past year. Our current goal has been to obtain sponsorship on both a corporate and a local level, and to make the events larger than they have been so far. Our long-term goal is to have more frequent BurningLAN events and advertise them to the community as a fun, safe, substance-free environment where local youth can come and network (both literally and metaphorically) and have some fun.
